Retrospect will throw this Error 102 Trouble Communicating Error 205 Lost access to storage medium when Retrospect lost contact with the Disk to which you are copying files. Please make sure that your Maxtor One Touch drive or other destination disk is properly connected to your computer. If you are using a Macintosh computer, the most common cause of the error is improper SCSI termination. Make sure that the SCSI chain is set up properly as this error can cause data corruption or system failures. Scanners, CD-ROM drivers or external SCSI drives can cause issue to the SCSI bus especially if they are turned off. Make sure all your SCSI devices are turned on.
