Error 0xE8008001 on iPhone 3G S

I have a jail broken iPad 3G S. I have Cydia and AppSync 4.2 installed on it. However, I am still getting an error 0xE8008001 when trying to sync applications. What is this error all about and how can I fix it? Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks.

Error 0xE8008001 on iPhone 3G S

For you to resolve iPad error 0xE8008001, you will need to disengage all of your firewall programs that you have installed on the ipad. You will then need to disconnect the tablet, and then you will close the  iTunes application. After you have done that, you will need to reopen iTunes and then you will reconnect the iPad. This should solve the problem.

After that you will need to switch on your firewall again, because you will still need to prevent malware from infecting your ipad, but then you will need to look into its defense settings and then set it to a lower level for the y effective firewalls will mostly deny programs, even if they’re not viruses or spyware their full functions.
