Please give me help about Eudora and Microsoft Exchange Server

I am having this problem from the time I log on in the exchange server.  My Eudora for Mac failed to work with Microsoft Exchange. It says that the POP server has protocol error while checking the mails. I need solutions for this. Please help me resolve my problem.

And then the POP server said: – ERR Protocol error. 16

You will need to check if you are using your ISP account to send the mails. Email addresses @ domain names tend to have problems in the past with using their outgoing mail settings, and therefore to resolve that in case it is that way for you, you will need to set up all outgoing mail accounts so that they will be able to use the settings from the ISP account.

You can also try deleting the user's mimeTypes.rdf file which you will find in the profile directory, and then you will need to set the system preferences correctly for they may be having issues too.

Once you have done the above the problem should go away.
