EPS vector Files Issue in PowerPoint

When I try to import a number of vector images into a presentation using PowerPoint Mac 2011, everything works out just fine, but after a few days, when I try to open that presentation, a lot of the images appear gray with black backgrounds.  I discovered that the images that change color are eps vector files that are saved from Illustrator. Why is this happening, because I have never had this problem before?

Hi,

Please find below a few solutions I gathered for your problem:

1. Open your eps file in ghostview then copy it using the edit menu. Paste the copied file into your PowerPoint.

2. Another way is to use distiller to convert the eps file to pdf. Open the PDF in Acrobat and select with the graphic select tool, copy and paste into PowerPoint.

3. Another is capturing the object in PrtSc (Alt-PrintScreen). Paste to any photo editor, for example Paint, available in your MAC. You fox the photo on your photo editor as to how you want the picture to come out, save and paste into your PowerPoint.

I hope these solutions work as I gathered them from educational institutions who also had the same issue as yours.
