Hi pro,

Not able to locate the error, where I made mistake in installation. I installed using the SRCDS content manager.exe. I try to fix the issue by renaming the ‘dll’ file and also tried by deleting it, but nothing happened. After some research I also closed the steam, still error pop up. Need professional assistance.

The procedure entry point ?Lock@CThreadFastMutex@@ACEXII@Zcould not be located in the dynamic link library tier0_s.dll

Hello,

The error is occurring because of the corrupted tier0_s.dll file. Download and install the file from here. Then run the game. Your problem should have solved now.

If that still doesn’t solve your issue, install the game once again. First of all, uninstall the game. Then re-install it again.

If that still occurs, open Command Prompt as an administrator. Then run this command:

regsvr32 tier0_s.dll

sfc /scannow
