The latest browser software Maxthon Portable 3.3.9.1000 is very fast comparing to other ones. Is it fast enough against Firefox 12 Beta?

Yes Maxton is fast enough compared to Firefox but it isn’t the fastest among all the browsers in the market. Maxthon uses dual display engines. And these engines are powered by Trident & Webkit. And it uses V8 which is the fastest Javascript engine on the web. Let us take a look at this.

When it comes to initial start up time, Maxton, at 8sec seconds, trails behind the Firefox's 6.3 sec. Average start up time is 5.9 sec which is faster than firefox’s 6.3 sec. And when it comes to navigation time, Maxthon has 3.2 sec, a lot faster than Firefox’s 5.7 sec.

The truth is, after learning about this web browser around 2 years ago I immediately noticed a difference when comes to speed when loading pages. There is a great difference in the speed if you’ll be comparing Mozilla Firefox with Maxthon. Aside from the fact that Maxthon has a built-in Download Manager that enables you to download almost any video from different video sharing site, it loads web pages much faster than Mozilla Firefox.
