There consolidate Free space, disk data daily, monthly, weekly,

Can you please explain the function of consolidate Free space, disk data daily, monthly, weekly,?

Good which is, to be used?

Quote defragment only because the space so messed up again. And if you wear a nice even consolidate free space on hard drive data neat.

I am confused about which one to use for optimizing my computer.

Need Information about Consolidation Free Space

Hello,

The consolidation free space is just like a defragmentation to clean up and free up space on your hard disk.

When a file is saved on hard disk it is saved in different parts.

 

This causes the system to get slow. So consolidation helps to make the data organized and free the space up.

Actually it totally depends on your use of data saving and downloading. If you have loads of data downloaded and saved daily you should prefer daily consolidation of data.

 

But preferably if you a normal user weekly or monthly consolidation works fine as per downloads and copying of data.

Nice there they alright review best tool for best defrag programs. By knowing the function of the ease MyDefrag I use the software.

Need Information about Consolidation Free Space

Consolidate free space refers to the defragmentation process. This method of defragmentation defragments all files and consolidates free space but the file locations are not optimized. If your defragmentation software supports free space consolidation, the application will search to create the biggest possible extents or amounts of free space and does not optimize file placement.

This method can involve moving big files to reclaim relatively small amounts of free space. This is the reason why sometimes it takes longer to finish. Free space consolidation is best done when shrinking or growing disk partitions, when you want to resize virtual machines, or to provide a boost to the lagging performance of Windows.

Free space consolidation takes all free sectors on the hard drive and arranges them together to become contiguous.
