Intrigued by Linux made me decide to install a Linux OS as my second OS.. It seems I have to learn again to use the OS. The Problem is, I've just installed PCLinuxOS on your PC. But do not know how to dial the internet setting. I used Smartup d1200p.
Please Linuxers. For those who know will understand this was a newbie.

Hello,

The first thing to do is to configure your Dial up or DSL connection is to  Go to your PCLinuxOS Control Center (PCC) icon on the desktop and select the Network and Internet Tab, then choose Setup a new network interface (LAN, ISDN, ADSL,…).

Shown Below

A wizard will appear telling you that which connection will you configure, just follow the steps (All of these are Self Explanatory)

When your on PPPoe you'll need to type your Username and Password for that connection

After configuring your internet connection, Test it out by using a Web Browser or o back to PCC under Network & Internet tab choose Monitor Network Connections if your on a PPPOE select your ISP and click Connect.

Congratulations you are now connected to the internet.

I hope this is helpful

Kudos,

Steve
