Dynamics AX 2012 cannot open client from App-V 4.6

This is a very familiar error because I see this error on my computer from time to time and it happens on any application actually. Though you get this error, it doesn’t mean that there is an issue with your Dynamics AX 2012 or with App-V. You normally get this error when an application is closing or when the operating system is shutting down.

In my case, I always see this error on one of my programs during shut down or when I am shutting down my computer. What you need to do after getting this error is to restart the computer. Normally, after restarting the computer, the program operates normally again. The error refers to the instructions stored in the memory that is somewhat being accessed while terminating a process.

In your case, exit the application if it is running then restart the computer. Try the program again and it should be back to normal. If the problem continues and you still get the memory error, it is possible that one of your memory cards is already defective. In this case, you should check which of your memory cards is faulty.

If you have two or more memory cards on your CPU, try removing one card and then try running the program. If it’s the same, reinstall the memory card then remove the other one. Repeat this until you find which card is defective.
