Hope I can get a help.

Hi all,

I struggled for using DVD Decrypter to burn off my ISO File from DVD shrink, but I keep receiving this message “DeviceIocontrol Failed!”

Does anyone have any idea what it is or how it can be fixed?

May be this picture works.

DVD Decrypter DeviceIocontrol Failed

DeviceIoControl(FSCTL_LOCK_VOLUME) failed !

Unable to lock volume for exclusive access

Reason: Access is denied.

Abort Retry Ignore

That error seems to imply that some application is still using the ISO File that you are about to burn, close any application that are currently running, check Task Manager for some process that are running and close some that you think probably using the file.

Unable to lock volume” simply means that the software cannot hold unto the file for burning and thus someone else is using the File.

Hi,

Hope you are doing well.

You can solve this problem by checking for another process running that may be causing this burning to stop.

For checking this, go to task manager for finding this by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del.

It will open the task manager. Now check for programs and processes.
