Download manager failed to append all pieces

I have just downloaded a huge file using internet download manager. The download when fine and arrived at 100% completion. Just as it was finishing, it read appending all parts and then it stopped. It is a really big file and it will be really difficult to download again. Can anyone help me?

Download manager failed to append all pieces

The two main reason this could be happening is:

1. It is possible that you have an old version of Internet Download Manager.

To see if you have the latest version, click on “Help”>”Check for Updates”

 

To update to the latest version:

 

2. Some firewalls and anti-virus software will block your downloads from Internet Download Manager.  Change the settings in your firewall and anti-virus to allow Internet Download Manager access.
