I just got a 3D Samsung TV with the glasses. So far, I am fully satisfied with it and it is great image quality to have. I have heard that 3D TV are no longer considered innovative and will be discontinued. Is that true? So will the support such as 3D blueray disk be unavailable as well?

3D technology will not going to die, but will be upgraded.

Actually the main problem is those 3D glasses.

You will not watch a clear image on your screen without those glasses. Because of this, a few weeks back Sky channel announced that it would no longer broadcasting football (Premier League) matches in 3D.

Scrabbling around for your glasses before a programme starts is annoying.

3D TV is not dead yet, but getting better day by day.

If some guest arrived at your home and they are 8 to 10 in number. You all want to watch a programme on 3D TV the main issue is spectacles.

3D technology is upgraded to 4K tech with curved screens.

I think so because when the 3D will upgraded to 4K no one need blueray disc of their favorite programmes.
