When I am executing the windows it comes up player, this error appears.

Fix WMP utility v 1.0

This portable utility re-register all the concerned Windows Media dll files required for the smooth functioning of Windows Media Player. If you are facing any issues or getting any error message while running a Windows media player, run this utility.

What is this error? How can I solve this…

Download: Fix Windows Media Player Utility

When faced with this issue or get any error message while running Windows Media Player, I create a system restore point first.

Before moving on to Advanced WMP Troubleshooting, I run this utility and try to see whether it's fixed or not. I think you can do this. For more info, you can visit this link.

Download: Fix Windows Media Player Utility

Hello,

WMP Utility is a program that repairs Windows Media Player files when they become corrupt. This application has to be downloaded and installed, it is not standard with Windows. Someone has installed this on your computer or it was maybe bundled with another application that you installed. Not too worry though it is not a virus of any kind and it will not damage your computer in any way.

• To remove the program
• Go to Start
• Then Control Panel
• Double click the Programs and Features icon

• Select WMP Utility 1.1 in the list and click uninstall.
• Follow the prompts.
