Does XP have Microsoft scanning software?

My Pentium 4 2.66 GHz PC with Windows xp 64 bit has become so slow and I think it is infected with malware and spyware. Do my Windows OS has Microsoft scanning software or is this an add-on? Any feedbacks on this?

Hi dear,

Windows XP has Microsoft Scanning software, but this is not a virus scanner. It is a scanner which scans your file system for bad clusters and recovers your files, and one scanner is available for security scanning and generating alerts. Microsoft XP operating system only has a firewall that prevents the system from various external attacks and in order to safeguard your system its important you install anti virus programs that are easily downloadable from the net, a good example is avast. There are other reasons that may make your system to become slow and i recommend you try cleaning its registry by resetting its BIOS.

Does XP have Microsoft scanning software?

Hi,

Windows XP comes with no Antivirus. It only has a firewall.
You can try some the following.
Most of them are free and easily downloadable. They have been tested,
proven and used by many organizations. The first one though free, will
require you to purchase after a 30 day trial period. I hope this will be
