I downloaded a video from a particular website and it is a rotated video. I want to rotate the video to get a proper view and save it but want to know how to rotate video and save in VLC media player?
It happens that a rotated video gets downloaded from a website. But it is easier to rotate a video in the VLC media player itself. The newer version gives you many options in which rotate is also one. This is how to rotate and save video in VLC media player –
1.) Open the particular video you want to rotate.
2.) Click Tools > effects and filters > video effects.
3.) A pop-up window will open. Click on the geometry tab and click Rotate. Your video will get rotated.
Rotating the video in VLC media player to the right angle is easy but unfortunately, even if you rotate it to the right angle and convert the video, it will remain in the original angle. VLC allows you to convert or save the video in another format but there is no option to rotate the image when converting.
Anyway, to rotate the image, in VLC media player, load the video you want to watch. Next, click “Tools” and then “Effects and Filters” or press CTRL + E. On the next screen, select “Video Effects” tab then click “Geometry” tab. Check “Transform” and then select the angle you want for the video.
After getting the right angle for the video, click “Close” and that’s it. If you haven’t updated yet to the latest version, download the latest VLC media player.
