Hello there,

My 2001 HP pavilion service pack keeps on telling me that I do not have a high-speed UDB controller 2.0 tech. What is the problem here? It tells me to re-configure, but I do not know how? I would appreciate your help.

This problem is because your USB host controllers are old, and you are trying to plug in a new generation speed USB, which means that your USB has a speed of 2.0, and you are putting it into 1.0 USB port. If you plug a 1.0 USB in this port, it will not say anything. This doesn't cause any problems, but you will be unable to use very much of your USB to your PC with 1.0 port. You will have to upgrade your port. Thanks.
