Do headset splitters work on microphones?

Hi,

My laptop only has one port for headsets so if ever I would need a microphone, I don't know where would I put it. So, I'm planning to buy a headset splitter, would that work if I will plug-in a microphone. And if not what would you advise me to use? Is there such thing as a headset/microphone that has a USB port?

Do headset splitters work on microphones?

Hi,

There is available splitter in the market today that uses a device that split phone connector and connect into USB slot.

It can be use to headset, microphone and other component like speaker and other devices. This allows you to connect your microphone and headset to your laptop that only has 1 connector available slot.

This splitter is not expensive and can be purchased through online and any computer shops.

The Screenshot below will give you idea how it look like. See the pink connector connected to a black device looking. This is known as USB speaker converter.
