Hello Habib,

Well this is a common problem for Samsung 10 and 14 inch monitors and the reason behind this white screen is the ribbon cable which connects your LCD and motherboard. You can try the function key along with the down arrow key in order to get away from this error temporarily. BIOS can also be a problem for this cause and also your motherboard.

What I would suggest you is just change the cable as this usually happens due to bad cable, so just replace the cable with a good one and then check. If still the problem persist you better check it out with Samsung Techs. Good Luck,

Thanks!!

Hi Habib,

Monitors display does get affected if they are in the vicinity of magnetic field. So, make sure that you haven’t placed your speaker near the monitor. To check if monitor is not affected by magnetic field just press the display effects adjusting button on monitor, from which you usually adjust brightness and contrast. In addition to adjust screen size and color effects it also does have “Deguss” option. Select that option and screen will flicker as if it is refreshed.Deguss removes all the magnetic effects from the monitor.

Some display problems occur due to moisture and BIOS issues also but it is wise to take your monitor to the nearest repairing centre unless the warranty period is over.
