What will be the government's actions with regards to the exposure of 2 digital artists after being caught of stealing digital photographs in other people's harddrive?

Digital Photographs that are stolen now in Display

If the photographs are copyrighted then the owner has the right to bring it up to the court. Even if it is in the web it does not mean that the photograph can be used by anyone. You can freely use the material, 50 years after the death of the owner. Punishment for stealing is by paying each copyright infringed which ranges from $10 000 to $100 000. Also, when found guilty the accused will pay the money spent by the plaintiff for the attorney's fee. The court has the right to order the accused to close the website who removed a copyright from the material. The court also has the right to impose a punishment of jail time to the guilty individual.
