Different Functions of Communication Software

Hello Madison,

I think the data communication software are mainly used to transport information from one point to another and this activity has to be carried out by use of a communication medium which should be linked by computers so as to make it possible for the data to be transmitted over a network through the particular communication media.

The data can take various forms when being transmitted from one point to another. It may be either transmitted as voice, video, text message and other formats. Take skype for example, it is communication software and with it you can talk to other people across the world wide network through video chatting, voice and even text messaging.
