Difference between a Play Station 2 and XBOX

I have a Playstation 2 and wanted to know what are all the differences

Will the PS2 CD work in XBOX

What are the differences?

Cables?

Hardware?

Difference between a Play Station 2 and XBOX

PS2 has more titles than XBOX. It does not include removable hard disk drive unlike the PS3 which is a giant upgrade of PS2 features. PS2 supports Bluray HD with wireless controller support. There are lots of free titles in the PS2 library compared to XBOX.

XBOX uses a built- in harddisk drive in saving games. It also has video support but isn’t capable of playing Bluray. The dashboard is quite clean and sleek. You can only play for free when you are connected to the internet. Otherwise, you have to pay.

No, your PS2 CD won’t work on XBOX because in the first place, their data are compatible only for the specific console.

Difference between a Play Station 2 and XBOX

The PlayStation 2 is integrated with two memory card slots and two controller ports, while the Xbox has four controller ports and a large 10 MB memory hard drive in order to store saved games and user profiles. With the purchase of a Multitap Adapter extra controls can be added to the PS2, this Network Adapter for PS2 is necessary for connecting to the Internet. However a Hard Drive Kit should be available for the PS2 version.

And no you can't run a PS2 CD in Xbox, you can't play a Sony game on a Microsoft platform because ps2 and xbox 360 discs have different data.

All in all the general difference between PlayStation and Xbox would be the cost and the straightforwardness with which the games and systems work.
