The difference between domain and website: Are they same?

During my project work, my teacher asked me to fill the column having titles domain and website, if used. I don't know the difference between domain and website. Can anybody guide me?

The difference between domain and website: Are they same?

The difference between domain and website is not much. Domain is the identification and location of on the world wide web (www). You cannot have access to it until you register. If we define it, then it's nothing but the IP address (Internet Protocol address). Domain consists of several web pages that are accessible through the browser. Each website has its own web address. It contains many files that are available to the user all the time. For example:/ Car is the website, and car license is the domain.
