I have also read the news about rumor around apple's next iPhone in market. It is heard too that it has NFC for passbook app for iOS 6. NFC is a new wireless technology. Its range is too short (few inches). This feature will allow contact less payments. For this feature the new iPhone will have an e-wallet for paying. This feature is called passbook. This feature lets users store electronic versions of things like airline boarding passes, movie tickets, retail coupons, and loyalty cards. For this apple may compete with Google wallet.
This new generation phone is expected to come in market in next fall. Probably in October Apple will launch this product for everyone. Hope this information will help.
