Hi Techyv,

I want to start a website that teaches people on java and would like your recommendation on the best desktop snap and up-loader, and whether the snap shots can be rendered to show a continuous flow of the snapshots uploaded.

Dear Smithy,

There are many options available for you to accomplish the above task. The best software that I can recommend is Snagit.

It is very easy to use software with great features.

You can capture the entire screen or specific regions and automatically upload them to a server. There is also a built-in editor which you can use to add texts, pointers to your captured screens. But these features do not come for free.

If you are looking for free software I would suggest the Snipping Tool available on Windows, it is a basic capture tool with limited editing capabilities, and it is not very friendly if you need to take several snapshots fast.

You could also try SnapCrab, another free, screen capture software available for Windows.

This too has limited features compared to Snagit, but it should be more than sufficient for your purpose.
