You can convert your ISO file to exe using softwares like Daemon tools, virtual clone drive, etc. The process to do so using Daemon tools is:
1. Download and install Daemon tools software.
2. Right-click the Daemon Tools icon in the Windows Task Panel and hold your mouse over the "Virtual CD/DVD-ROM" arrow. Choose the "Device…" sub-menu and click "Mount Image."
3. Locate your ISO file and click "Open".
4. You will see your ISO file converted to exe file in the "My Computer" folder.
To unmount the ISO you need to right click the ISO file and select unmount image.
You can also use Virtual clone drive software or Nero to do this.
I don’t know what’s the point of converting an ISO file into an EXE format because an ISO file is an image file representing an actual CD or DVD disc. It can be used as replacement for an actual disc in case you no longer have it.
You can use it in two different ways: one, burn the file on a blank CD-R or DVD-R, or two, mount the file on your computer and use it as if it was an actual CD or DVD. Converting an ISO file into EXE is possible but you need to do it manually because there is no program that will actually convert an ISO file into an executable EXE format.
Download and install 7-Zip. It is a free, open source file archiver similar to WinZip and WinRAR except that this one is totally free. Once you have installed it, navigate to the location of the ISO file, right-click it, point to “7-Zip” and select “Extract files”.
Select a folder where you want to extract the files and extract them. Once all the files are unpacked, navigate to the folder where you extracted the files, select all the items in there (files and folders) or just press CTRL + A to select all, right-click one of the items, point to “7-Zip” and select “Add to archive”.
In the “Add to Archive” dialog, check “Create SFX archive”. Configure the rest of the settings for your compression or leave it as it is then click “OK” to begin compressing the items. For more information about the settings, click “Help”.
And that’s it. Once the process is complete, you will have a self-extracting archive. Your compressed file will have the “.exe” extension.
