Your laptop is indeed very old. You need to understand is that even if the processor in your computer was the best several years ago, it does not mean that it is on the same level today. In the computer industry, an old specification does not have much value.
As far as installing Windows 10 on your laptop is concerned, the Dell website has a feature that allows you to see the list of all supported operating systems. Unfortunately for you, the Dell Inspiron n5110 does not support Windows 10 officially. I would suggest you stick with Windows 7.
