Defraggler Disk Optimizer error message

Hi,

After installing this software, when i try to open a program it gives an error that says "A Hard driver error occurred while starting the application"?

What is the fix?

Defraggler Disk Optimizer error message

Did you install the program fully to your system?

How about running the program thru SAFE MODE?

While booting press the f8 key, this will bring you to the Advanced Options Menu, after which select SAFE MODE, and then press enter). Did you ever update your computer before doing the defrag, updates could sometimes disable some programs, to check,  click START > CONTROL PANEL > ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS > and look for a Windows Hotfix, disable it then reboot your computer then try running the Defraggler again.

Another option is to try running CHKDSK on your programs, this should tell you whether your hard disk has the problem or the Defraggler has the problem. If Check disk does not run properly, try running it while on SAFE MODE. You should see the list of errors and after CHKDSK is done there should be a message Checkdisk completed no errors. 

If still this does not solve the issue, one last thing you can do is to reinstall you’re Operating System, then have it run the Defraggler again.

Please update us if your issue has been solved since there are a lot of reasons why we encounter errors on the hard disk, these are just the “common” issues.

Defraggler Disk Optimizer error message

Hello

This error is probably caused by a Malware. You cannot access  anything on windows if your hard drive is defective. Also, you cannot boot from your operating system when everything is wrong in the hard drive because this is where your operating system and all components and files stored.

Based on what I have researched, this error is generated by a Malware. They are programs that is fake and giving them the opportunity to install another Malware in your system. To resolve this, you can download the latest anti-malware, anti-spyware, and antivirus programs on the internet and do a full system scan to get rid of the parasite in your system.
