Why the fde_da_ew needs to close error popup box started showing up on my laptop screen from few days? I have not done anything. Please help me to fix it.

Define Fde_da_ew Needs To Close Failure

This extension contains encrypted data. This error can be occurring due to the corruption of log files. It usually does not get corrupted, but since it uses encryption, so there are some chances of infection. Maybe it gets corrupt while booting up. You cannot fix this error simply. I suggest you reinstall the Operating System. You can also report the problem to the Microsoft Help Desk.

Define Fde_da_ew Needs To Close Failure

The problem there is with Pointsec PC if the error appears automatically when you start the computer. Try to uninstall and reinstall the program. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select Pointsec PC among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process.

When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then restart the computer. After booting, install Pointsec PC back.
