Hello,

I have having this message for sometimes now. It shows that firewall could not be started, or it is not active now.

I could not find the settings though.

I want someone to guide me through the process and help me turn it on.

Should someone know of this problem kindly help me out of it.

You can enable your Windows Firewall manually. Your computer is in a very dangerous state if your Windows Firewall is down and not running. You can easily receive different online attacks without even knowing that an attack already happened. Here’s how to manually enable the Windows Firewall.

  1. Click Start then Control Panel.
  2. Click on Network and Internet Connections and then Windows Firewall.
  3. Under General tab, select On (recommended) then click OK.

Like in the image I attached below from my computer’s own Windows Firewall. It is set to ON and can not be configured. I locked my Windows Firewall so that no other application can turn it off without my knowledge.
