Could not connect to iTunes Store when accessing Passbook

I just updated to iOS 6. I was glad to see Apple's newest app which is the Passbook. I opened it but when trying to access the collection of compatible App Store apps, I always get an error "Can't connect to iTunes Store". How can I resolve it? I want this new feature for collecting coupons and gift cards.

The problem is not with your iPhones passbook but your connection to the internet, if you are trying to access ITunes Store and your machine is not connected to the internet you will always received an error. I suggest that connect your machine to the internet and try opening the iTunes store while connected.

If your machine is already connected to the internet you just have check the speed of it connection, sometimes iTunes that is using a slow internet connection can result also in an error.
