I used to chat with my friends regularly in yahoo messenger. I never faced this error in the past. When I try to see the conversation history, this error message appeared. The error message states that it failed to process your request. So I tried again to see the history, I got the error again. How to fix this error? Please help. Thanks.

Conversation History error occurred using Yahoo Messanger
I’m not sure when this feature started but Yahoo! Messenger can now record or save your conversation or the conversation you had with your friends. This functionality is not available in early versions of the messenger and this is really handy if you want to check again some important details that your friend might have mentioned while you were talking or chatting.
To fix your problem, try clearing your Yahoo! Messenger cache. Close Yahoo! Messenger, right-click on its icon in the system tray and select Exit. See image.
Click Start, Run, and type without quotes “cmd” and hit Enter. Type the following commands in the command prompt, press Enter after each line:

In case it prompts you with a message “The system cannot find the file specified” just continue with the next command. When you are finished, type without quotes “exit” then hit Enter to exit command prompt and then restart Yahoo! Messenger. Try it again if you can pull out the conversation history on Yahoo! Messenger.
