Hi,

I am using Windows XP SP2 Operating System but getting some issue attempting to contact localhost. When I try to connect, it get fail and the following error message appears on the screen. I have fed up to search for the solution but can’t find proper resolution. I need your assistance. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

Jay,

From the screenshot you provided, it seems you configured your XP PC's localhost via port 0 as a web server using IIS. If so, check the following:

1) Make sure that the web service is running (Click the Internet Information Services icon and then make sure that the corresponding website is running).

2) Based on best practice implementations, you need to use known web port numbers (default is 80) so you may also want to change the port number assigned for your web service.
