Hi there.

Please guide me with my problem.

When ever I add an attachment, the default view is always “thumbnails”, but I want “details”.

How I can define this setting?

Thank you.

Usually, when you are attaching a file or a document to your email, Windows tries to remember the folder you used where the attachment was made.

Next time you do an attachment to your email, the folder you last accessed where you made your previous file attachment will automatically be opened. If you don’t like the view that was set on that folder, you can change it using Windows Explorer.

This worked for me when I’m doing my attachments. You may try this and see if it will also work on you.

  1. Open Windows Explorer and then go to the folder where you always put the file you attach.
  2. Click Views button located beside Folders and then select Details.

If after doing this the view still changed back to its original view in doing the attachment, then you can not change it.

The default view is set by the file attachment task in your email.
