Computer restarted when I add an additional Ram.

I have get an error while I add an additional Ram into the computer.

After adding Ram, computer Restarted with double beep.

Give me a solution that i increase my Ram Without any problem.

What can i do to solve it?

Computer restarted when I add an additional Ram.

There are a few solutions for this, so I suggest you to follow these steps.

RAM with the highest capacity should be placed in the memory module closest to your CPU. Then restart your computer.

If that doesn’t help, go to BIOS ad check if the frequency is set properly.

If that is fine, try booting with the new RAM only, so you can be sure is there some problem. But it doesn’t mean RAM is faulty for sure. Maybe you just mixed two different brands and that caused the problem and one affecting other. The best option is to buy a matched pair.

Hi good day

Please don’t use different brand of memory card just only use one brand name,

To avoid incompatible of the system hardware.

Example;

Brand of memory card: 1gig Kingston >1 gig Kingston 

1 gig Kingstek  >1 gig kingstek.

The Memory card should be in uniform.

Dear this problem has many reasons behind.

Most important thing is to check the RAM for any damage. Please check your RAM first.

Then check the Bus speed of RAM, is it compatible with your motherboard?

You have got a RAM having different bus speed or the new RAM is damaged from any node.

Check these things; you will get answer of your question.
