Com error code: 0x80004003, Invalid Pointer

Hi,

I am having trouble with the following given error. Can anyone tell me when does it come? How to resolve this error? The step by step solution would be more helpful.

Hi Charlie,
The error is caused because of some damage to the windows file system.
There are multiple ways to solve this error
Solution 1: Manually change the User solution
1) Start your computer and log on as administrator
2) Click 'Start', Select 'All Programs' , 'Accessories', 'System Tools', Click 'System Restore'
3) In the new window, Select 'Restore my computer to an earlier time' option , click 'Next'
4) Select the most recent system restore point from the 'On the list, click a restore point' list, Click 'Next'
5) Click 'Next'
6) Restart the computer when restoration is complete
Solution 2: Automated User Solution
1) Download (Windows error) repair utility
2) Install program and Click 'Scan' button
3) Click 'Fix Errors' button when scan is completed
4) Restart your computer
