I am thinking of using cloud computing software with a full service. I want to know if how can I recover or transfer my information to another vendor if something happen or the vendor can no longer provide the service for my ecommerce business.any help with that

I will suggest that you try using the OpenStack cloud computing software, which is available under the apache 2.0 license. If you get the licensed version then you can be sure to use full cloud computing services with the application as opposed to the free version that may have some limitations on the service that you can use.
The application can be run by anyone, and anyone can built on it and also most importantly as you have said in your question it will allow you to submit any changes back to the project.
You can give it a shot and see if it gives you the services to satisfaction.
