I have a Cisco Linksys WRT610N-RM UltraRange Plus, simultaneous Dual-N Band Wireless Router and I used the Cisco software comparison tool for comparing Cisco Config Files. I am now on a Windows 8 system and the comparison tool won't work. What could be the problem?
Hello sir, you did not post what software you are using to compare cisco config files but you can use examdiff, it's a freeware from prestosoft to compare cisco config files and other things like merged try this link http://www.prestosoft.com/edp_examdiffpro.asp this is the pro but they have the free version which has limited functions but can still use to compare config files

I would Recommend using  wktools3 software. This program can do much more than just compare two Cisco configuration files. It can help you also with the creation of new configuration files and manage different information related to the Cisco Devices you are managing.
You can download this software as freeware license for free.
