Cisco ADSM Java Not Installed Error

Hello,

During the install of Cisco ADSM-IDM on my laptop this error appeared and closed the installation. The installer is not corrupted because is downloaded from a trusted website and also is compatible with Windows 7. Does anyone have free time to help me with this error ?

Cisco ADSM Java Not Installed Error

Java is a nice programming environment that allows creating thousands of applications with awesome combination and power. Cisco is also created with Java. But the main problem of Java applications is, they require JRE pre-installed in your machine. Though it is not too hard, but important enough to make everything working.

In order to have the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE), go to this page and download the latest installer. Download JRE.

Now, you’re free to install Cisco ADSM-IDM without any error.
