Cant connect my Apple iphone to a Wi-Fi network

I bought a WiFi router yesterday and connected it through my SmartBro WIMAX.

After that, I tested my laptop to check if I can connect to the internet and without any hassle everything works fine.

Just this morning I tried to connect my Apple iPhone, through the WiFi network but it fails.

An error message pops up telling me, that I failed to connect my Apple iPhone.

The message says something like this Unable to Join Network Failure error 3

Hello Dear John McKnight.

For this problem the solution is very simple:

  1. Turn off your WiFi, and then turn back it on.
  2. Check this password settings.
  3. Go to your Mac computer <Airport Utilities<Access<Click the button + <type in your phone' WiFi address <Click Update.

To Find your phone's WiFi Address <Go to the IPhone Settings<General<About<scroll down to WiFi Address.

Your Problem will be fixed by this solution hopefully.

Regards

It is the same problem as the connectivity of the computer with some other WiFi.

  • For iPhone, go to its settings and check the network SSID and check if its connectivity and settings are the same as the WiFi access point. Keep in mind that SSID settings are case sensitive.
  • After fixing that, check the security settings and configuration. Ensure the WEP parameters and set them also according to access point. It is not case sensitive, but it has to be alike.

If that does not work then, the best method is to reset the settings.

  • Go to settings>general>reset>reset network settings. This will definitely work.
