Can’t connect my android phone to AP 1242

When i try to connect my android phone to AP 1242, it fails to get dhcp ip address from AP. But the AP is working smoothly. All the APs are cisco ones. can someone help me please?

Here are the possible solutions to your problem.

Try connecting another android device to that router. If the device connects successfully, it means that there is something wrong with your mobile and you need to factory restore it or do the settings again.

Also make sure that the dhcp IP range has enough IP address to assign devices. Normally if you have a DHCP of 50 IP addresses and there are already 50 devices, then you would not get the connection.

Make sure that the device is automatically picking up the IP address over Wifi. If it is not picking up any IP, it means that you have to reconfigure your router.

There is also a chance that your DHCP is turned OFF and that you are on a static IP configuration.
