Would it be more cost efficient for me if I use a wired network versus a wireless network for my small business(15 employees)? Any advice on this one please?

The good thing about wired networks is that you can have the best out of the connection, meaning faster connection with of course excellent visbility. There is no need to worry about the security of connection because it is not meant to be shared because it will only be plugged. The bad thing is that it may look messy and people may trip over these wires. Also, you cannot set up an internet connection anywhere except where the LAN cable is located. It can also be more pricey than having a router.

For the wireless connection, it is good as you may move around without having to trip or to worry about the connection. The only problem is the visibility, if there are walls that may interfere with the connection or because of the bad weather. But is considerably cheap and security can be added by putting up face recognition or fingerprinting or a simple password for protection.

Hope this helps!

Hi there,

If you are opting for a network for your business needs, it is always advisable to use a wired connection as it is secured, faster and more reliable in networking. Wired connections will cost you a little bit more but in the long run their effectiveness will be better than the wireless connection.
