Cannot save draft using Thunderbird on Mac OS

Hi,

I am using Mac and Thunderbird 16.0.2 and can’t send nor save emails anymore. I receive this error message “Unable to save your message as draft. Please verify that your Mail & Newsgroups account settings are correct and try again”. What to do now? Suggest me.

Cannot save draft using Thunderbird on Mac OS

Hi,

    The best thing is to update the Thunderbird and restart, in most cases this should work. If you face any configuration settings follow the instructions from official docs.

An alternate way is complicated way, so take backup of your profile. Move all the sent messages from the folder to that of new folder(create new one under Local Folders). Close the TB and navigate to your profile folder, delete Sent.msf and Sent files.

Restart the TB, you will have new sent folder. Copy messages from the new folder which you did previously, to the now empty sent folder. Perform the same method on the Drafts folder.
