Cannot convert Notes Rich Text message to MIME message

Hi Techyv,

I use Lotus Notes for sending emails. It was working fine and recently I found that some of the mails are not being sent and stays in the ‘outbox’ with the above error. There is no attachment or Rich Text Format in the message.

I browsed and found that there is a fix for this error in the version 5.08. Tried upgrading, still some of the emails are being rejected. I even tried sending emails after disabling the antivirus program.

No use. Help me, please.

Dear,

There is a solution available for this  problem, you  does a work like this procedure following to make these mails pass through the conversion error. First of all must be  go in note’s edit mode  and cut all inline pictures like one by one. Then to each picture  paste in the image editor of your choice. Now on your local disk save to the each image.  So that all inline images are removed from the original mail, attach to it like all the images you saved in the previous step. At  final stage  save the mail modifications in Notes and you will be able to move the mail without the problem of conversion error.

Cannot convert Notes Rich Text message to MIME message

You need to check whether your rich text contains the non Ascii characters or not. It does seems that they are creating the problem. Just get them off or follow this procedure. You need to edit bash_profile file. This is available on the operating system. Select the LANG option to LANG=en_US_UTF8. You will find that your problem is solved.
