I am using FOLDER LOCK 5.2.9 software. I have some data into a folder which size is about 5gb and lock with slow speed locking option of encryption. After locking it shuts down my computer. When next time I unlocked my folder, it shows nothing into the folder or an empty folder. I have reinstalled software as well but no positive results come out.
Please help me. How to recover from it? Thank You

This issue is some what common amidst the Folder Lock 5.2.9 software users. In order to retrieve the files that you locked & were displayed empty, the software needs to be uninstalled.

Also it is possible to extend the trial period by doing as below
regedit > search for 'everstrike' or 'LF30.exe' until finding: \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurentVersionUninstall{57CDxxx-xxxx-4E78-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx}Â >Â Then change all the words 'InstallDate' to "current date".Â

Also you can remove the password by,Â
regedit > search for 'everstrike' or 'LF30.exe' until finding: \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREEverStrikeLF30 > Then delete all the rows starting with 'Password'Â

open the Lock Folder, unlock it &Â unlock any files present

go to control panel > uninstall the software

Now, the file data would have been saved and the next time, use a a better software instead of this!Â
