Can I remove apps that were pre-installed on my phone?

I am having issues with my Android Galaxy S4. I am having difficulties in removing applications with it. It doesn’t show option like delete or remove or uninstall with the application itself. Sometimes I cannot find or locate the application I want to remove. What could be the cause of this problem? Can you provide me resolution with this problem? Is there any alternative resolution to break this problem? Can you give me other software that might be helpful in eliminating this problem?

Thank you!

Hello,

Android is an awesome smartphone OS that comes with many pre-installed apps. Some apps are system apps and those are strongly NOT RECOMMENDED to even touch until you’re an advanced and master user.

If you want to uninstall apps, go to Apps >> Settings >> Application manager. There, you can find out apps that can be uninstalled in “Downloaded” section. Tap any app and select “Uninstall” from top-right corner of the new window to uninstall the app.

You can also uninstall apps with any third party software like CCleaner, ES Task Manager etc. They are easy to use and advanced with cool functions.

Try following these strategies,

  • Restart the device (because a refreshing reboot has the capability to fix certain system issues)
  • Perform system updates regularly and any other application updates if available
  • Identify & remove the applications with issues

Further more, you can do a system back up where these issues were absent
If all the attempts prove useless, it is advisable to reset the default factory settings so that the device is freed from any processes related to the issue.

In the mean time, it is possible to connect the device to a computer via a USB connection and manage your applications there.

Best Regards!
