Can Google Documents be used by Multiple Users

I work at home and my job is actually located in another state.

Recently, I heard about Google documents and was wondering what they were.

If I upload a spreadsheet into Google documents, will my co-workers be able to work in this document or just view them? 

Will it also be confidential, or will others be able to see it?

Can Google Documents be used by Multiple Users

Hi,

The Google documents are very widely used.

You, as an administrator, can have all the access whether you want to share the documents or not.

You can share the documents within your organization.

People can even edit the document if you, as an administrator, give the access to the workers.

Once you start sharing documents, you can go to the settings tab in the Google documents and can modify the settings based on your requirement .

You may share the documents outside or inside the organization.

Can Google Documents be used by Multiple Users

Doc Sharing Process:

For changing the sharing setting of your Google document, clicks on the share button.

Here you set what you want.

For changing document visibility options click on Change from visibility option.
See who can access your document, here you can set by yourself, I mean if you want you allow to edit ‘X’ but you don’t want to give access for editing ‘Y’ but you want ‘Y’ can give comments, you can do that from here.
You can give individual access Editors, Commenter’s and Viewers form here, If you want to add more person here just type their e-mail address.
You can also transfer your ownership from here, just click on Is owner.

Can Google Documents be used by Multiple Users

Google Docs supports most of the well known file formats, these file formats include;
DOC
XLS
ODT
ODS
RTF
CSV
PPT an etc.

You need to avail all email addresses the people you want to give a specific document then send them all an invitation.

All the people you invited t share your document, be it spreadsheet or maybe a presentation can gain access t it the moment they are signed in.
