I recently purchased Mac Book Air and use WiFi networks at many places as my job is related to tourism.

So, I was wondering if someone will help me to configure WiFi manager Mac OS X Mountain Lion?

Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Hi,

It is very easy to configure your WiFi manager on Apple Mac OS X Mountain Lion. Just follow these simple steps:

1. Go to system preferences by clicking on the apple symbol. Then click on the network icon. See the screenshot below:

2. Click on the WiFi option to switch it on.

3. Then select the network you want to connect from the list of networks available. If asked for username and password, provide them and click join.

4. A new dialog box will appear. Click on continue.

Repeat this process whenever you go to a new place and want to connect to a network.

Always connect to a secure network only.

Dear Nekoda Monty,
 
I like to help for your problem. I'll help to configure WiFi manager.
 
There are some issues with this problem. Those are,
 
Could be two things:
  • H/W issue,
  • Router issue
 
And it is easy to connect with the router. Before connect make sure that WiFi is enable or Password for connect.
 
First step: Turn on your WiFi button or icon
Second step: Search (scan) for a WiFi network in the area (if WiFi enabled)
Third step: Connect to network (if it is public network it is easy (if it is a private-you need to enter password)
 
Note: You related to tourism field. So you need to check the place router where you connect to the network.
