Maybe you chose Palm Tree background option. In iPhoto, you can choose to show grey background page to not get this error message. The error message appears because the Palm Tree background option, is made to use your own photo as the background, not a gray background.
So the solution is to choose different background. You should be redirected to click on this option. You can choose black or white background, gray background – theme Contemporary or theme Picture Book themes in iPhoto 7.1.
So you have to go through all photos and to check the background.
