Built in sound card is not working

My motherboard is intel  DG41RQ which has a built-in sound card. Now I can not hear any sound. Now what should I do? Should I use an external sound card or should I change the motherboard?

This is the solution for that, if the sound card is built into the computer and it is not working properly, you must replace the motherboard, because commonly if the sound card is the one doesn’t working the motherboard is problem. Another solution for this is you must buy a separate PCI sound card and you must install it into the computer.
You must also try to check your drivers, find the sound driver, to check it, right click on the My Computer section find the properties and you must go to the sound, video and the game controllers, you can check there the status of you sound card that is installed into you PC.
