Blocking animated block sign gif popups in Mozilla Firefox

How am I able to block animated block sign gif popups that keep appearing on my browsers and drawing my attention to unplanned for activities that may potentially lead to virus infection for my PC?

Blocking animated block sign gif popups in Mozilla Firefox

Hi Greg,

For your Firefox browser I suggest you to use some free, clean pop-up blockers in order to avoid these types of annoying messages.

First of all you can use the build-in functionality of your Firefox browser to block this message.

1. So open your Firefox
2. Go to Preferences, select the Content tab
3. Now here check the “Block pop-up windows”

Now for better “protection” again this window you can install one add-on in Firefox. I suggest you to use Adblock Plus.

You have two options to install this:

1. From Add-On Manager in Firefox (just search for Adblok Plus and click download/install)
2. From the official website (https://adblockplus.org/en/firefox)
